2022 Armed Forces Day
This year, Armed Forces Day will be celebrated on May 21st with Armed Forces Weekend kicking off at most Major and Minor league baseball stadiums May 20th-22nd. Armed Forces Day was originally established in August 1949 to honor the brave soldiers serving all across the US military––from the Army to the Navy to the US Air Force. This American holiday was designed to combine what used to be separate celebrations of each branch of the US military.
To show our love and support for the fighters of the red, white and blue, Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball, in partnership with New Era, have launched the 2022 collection of on-field green camouflage caps. Seventy-seven MiLB teams have released their own limited edition, New Era 59Fifty caps in observance of this American holiday. So, tip your hat to these fearless individuals while still supporting your favorite MiLB team! Shop individual teams below, or check out the full collection.
