About the Team
The Madison Hatters were one-year wonders, playing in the Midwest League in 1994. A St. Louis Cardinals affiliate, the team played its home games at Warner Park. The Hatters’ mascot was Madcap, a nattily-attired mouse. The club relocated to Battle Creek,
Michigan and became the Michigan Battle Cats for the 1995 season.
