This 59FIFTY Fitted Cap honors the historic St. Paul Colored Gophers, a team that posted an impressive 380-89-2 record during their four years of existence from 1907 to 1910. Before the formation of the first National Negro League in 1920, Black baseball teams like the Colored Gophers were already making significant strides toward national recognition.

Led by owner Phil “Daddy” Reid, the St. Paul Colored Gophers played a key role in shaping baseball history. While their history might not be as widely known, their legacy remains vital to the sport.
