(3 items)The Latino community’s contribution to the foundation and growth of the City of Sugar Land is as real as the sugar that gives our hometown its name. Centered just blocks from where Constellation Field sits today, baseball became an important facet of cultural life, providing a sense of community and family entertainment. These are traditions we work to continue every day. To honor these past, present and future contributions to our community, we introduce the Dulces de Sugar Land -- a bold and sweet reminder of time spent together with family and friends, building a community and loving the game.
Los aportes de la comunidad latina a la fundación y el crecimiento de la Ciudad de Sugar Land es tan real como la azúcar que le da el nombre a nuestro pueblo. Centrado a unos bloques de donde está hoy el Constellation Field, el béisbol se convirtió en una faceta importante de la vida cultural, proporcionado un sentido de comunidad y entretenimiento familiar. Estas son tradiciones que trabajamos a diario para mantener. Para rendir homenaje a estos aportes del pasado, del presente y del futuro a nuestra comunidad, presentamos a los Dulces de Sugar Land – un recordatorio dulce y audaz del tiempo que compartimos con familiares y amigos, construyendo una comunidad y amando el juego.
